my little boy is 1 month

It is so hard for me to believe that a month ago I was giving birth to my wonderful baby. He has already grown so much. He is very close if not right now already 10lbs! not to mention he is sleeping through the night. That is if he is in bed with me and Beckett, I am thinking he either doesn't like to be so far away or he doesn't like his mattress but Maury and Connie are giving us a co-sleeper so I'm hoping that will get us out of our bed. :)

This is a picture of Rocky on his 1 month birthday.

He currently has red hair and I hope it will stay :)

Also Ben is already so grown up I thought I'd post his mission photo so you could see just how grown up he has become. I want to cry when I think in just 4 to 6 weeks he could have a mission call and be on a mission. I just don't want him to grow up when we were kids he was my best friend, but I know that he was bore to serve and nothing will stop him from doing that.

Bath Time!!!!!!!

Rocky's first bath! Before his first time at church he had to get a bath, I mean it had been a week since he had been born and as Randy Day would say that is just to long. haha! I was a little worried that he would cry the entire time and it is often times hard to do the right thing if it makes your baby cry but nonetheless it had to be done. I am always worried I will hurt him so beck drew? the water so that it wouldn't get to hot and we put him in his bath and he loved it, loved it in the way a 7 day old baby can. He never cried when he was in the water. He got a little freaked out when the water would splash. He cried when we got him out of the shower but I think it was due to the fact that he was cold.... Now if only I could bring myself to cut his finger nails. Oh .... That is another blog in its self.

Well also good news Beck got the pell grant this year so we won't have to pay for his college with a student loan again. We are taking online classes this semester but they seem harder then they should be I think we just have never done it.

On saturday we are taking our Six Generation picture which I am excited for. I am happy I could be the one to bring this little bundle into the world.

I love my son and my family so much although these boys can make me a little crazy and tired and just emotional I wouldn't trade them for anything in the world.

Til we meet again....

HE'S HERE!! HE'S HERE!!

On friday May 4th Beckett and I welcomed our beautiful baby boy Rockwell Nodal into this world. He weight 6lbs 15oz and was 20inches long and was born at 12:54am. It was a long labor and delivery of 25 hours but at the end seeing my son was one of the greatest moments of my life. Being there with my family and with Beckett made everything great made life worth living and just made me thankful that beckett and i have an eternal marriage and no matter what that boy is mine forever!

well now heres a picture of him today.

Well hopefully now with this boy getting older I will be better at posting blogs and pictures. All he does these days is sleep and eat but I love him and I love being a mother and I am just over all really happy with my life. The gospel in my life is about the greatest thing. With out it I have no idea how I could live.

Life is very good for me right now. Everyone should be a mom!

38 Weeks!!!

So I'm 38 weeks pregnant now and have two weeks left of this seemingly never ending pregnancy. This baby better be worth it ;). The more I think about I could go to bed and awake up and say its time to go, or just be cleaning and say oh lord its time, scares me more then getting married did...Maybe its because I knew and was absolutely positive that my marriage was going to work and be amazing and maybe this is the unknown? Am I going to be a good mother? What will it be like? What if I don't know what to do? and I fear that something horrific will happen and I will lose him because of SIDS or something I cannot control. What if my role is just to bring him into this world and then say goodbye. How would I live????? Do all first mothers feel or think this way? I sure hope not, but I hope I'm not a paranoid freak!

Well...I have my crib and all is ready the bag is packed and at any moment I'm more then happy to jump into the car and drive away to lovelace and see my son for the first time. I yearn for the feeling to hold him and kiss his little head. I wonder if he will look like his father, or will he look like me. Will he shock us and end up with brown eyes? What will my son! look like.

Tomorrow my sister flies off to her outbound mission to South Chicago...and I guess I will not be seeing her till she returns in February. I will probably be the only one crying. I miss her dearly. I miss that she has missed out on my pregnancy and she will miss the first months of this babies life. But I am sad that my brother will meet him and then in 6 months or so will leave and not see him again for 2 years...Is life suppose to have such amazing highs and such low lows?

I don't know if anyone else goes through this but I don't wish it on them. Soon I will see my son and I cannot wait!!! Everyone pray everyday that he will be born so healthy and a happy baby and a sleeps through the night baby :)

Thanks for reading

April Fools!

April fools was the most exciting day to happen in the recent months. Went to work like usual but could not focus on work at all, and things were not right so I called the nurse and she said lay down for two hours and if things hadn't changed call back and go to the hospital. So things hadn't changed and I went to the hospital and with in seconds of being put on the machine....contraction....contraction...contraction.... The nurse came in and told me that I was in labor but they were going to stop it cause I was just 34 weeks. So I said ok got the shot and went on my way home. Can you believe it! Rocky thinks he needs to be like his mom impatient and come early. haha so now we are on everyday he could arrive. I went to the midwife today and I am 2 maybe 3 cm dilated so I am really feel some contractions just not regular enough to make him come right now....

Also yesterday Monday was Becketts 23rd birthday! Wow I cannot believe we celebrated another birthday for him. It seems like when your in love and things are good the days sure do fly by. I made him save most of his birthday money but my mom and some help from grandma bought him a pair of cowboy boots...I'm sure in 20 years our children will be laughing and his style choices for today. cowboys boots, cowboy shirts, tight brown pants and an abe lincoln beard! haha Hopefully I will get around to making take a picture and post them of his fabulous face. haha!

This weekend is my baby shower and I am so excited. I am sad that Sarah will not be here but I will post pictures and I am sure more kids will come that she will be able to share with me.

32 weeks down 8 to go...

hey ya'll, the very few of you that may read this. I have exactly two months left til this baby is suppose to come out. I am feeling the best I have since I got pregnant almost a year ago. Everyday that creeps closer to my baby shower and to the birth of our son the more and more I'm excited and can't wait to meet this little guy and start the newest chapter of our lives. As of Friday I have gained a total of 13 pounds the midwife/nurse said she would like me to gain another 10lbs before delivery but its not lack of trying on my part. I am not exactly on the most healthly diet and I've started taking more iron because of anemia that I have brought on from the pregnancy.

Work is going well, I am trying to get more hours in to pay off bills and save a little before my maternity leave we will see how that goes later. Becketts school is going well had midterms this week and aced them all. I am so proud of him and how hard he is working to make our lives better but I always remind him that when he does finish school, he is buying me a Jeep commander! haha Every mom needs a sweet ride :)

Well I hope you all are doing well. I'm sure I love all of you. I attended all of the church services today and feel every good, at one point I felt I may have to go home but I fault through the hot flash and am glad I did....

Til I write again.... goodbye

Has it been a year already...

Well at the end of next week, I will of been married to Beckett Nodal for one whole year. Where did the time go? In our short time together as a family, we are so excited to announce that we are having a son. His name will be Rocky and I love him so much already. Even though he has caused much puking and physical pain the love I have for him is so great. Thats our big news everything else seems to be the same. Beckett is still working part time and going to school full time and will transfer to UNM with in the next couple of semesters. I am currently still working for the Chiropractor and that has been a huge blessing in our life's. We both have siblings out on missions and we miss them dearly. My sister Sister Sarah Swapp is serving at the Salt Lake Temple Square mission and if you ever get a chance go see her, she truly is an amazing missionary. Becketts Brother Elder Solon Nodal is serving in Brazil and if I ever needed to know that our heavenly father knows us all personally his calling to Brazil is evidence enough for me. It is so hard but Solon serves so happy and I don't think he would fit in, in any other mission. I can't wait for either of them to return home.

As far as my pregnancy goes I am almost 29 weeks and my son should arrive May 13th. Well I'm hoping he will get to anxious and come to us sooner...like the last week of April. :) Stay tuned for more... I'll try to figure out how to post pictures and all the fun stuff.
